On behalf of Motseng, we would like to thank the Attacq Foundation and Rise Against Hunger Africa for bringing us together for such a meaningful initiative.

At Motseng, we believe that business has a responsibility that extends far beyond financial performance and that sustainable impact is created through collaboration. The Attacq Foundation’s mission strongly resonates with our own purpose, particularly the understanding that no child should have to choose between learning and hunger. The link between education and food security is undeniable, and it is through partnerships like this that we can collectively address challenges that no single organisation can solve alone.

Mandela Day reminds us that leadership is ultimately measured by service. Madiba taught us that lasting change begins when each of us chooses to contribute, whether through our time, our resources or our willingness to stand alongside others in pursuit of a better society.

We remain committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most, so participating in this meal-packing initiative was a natural extension of who we are as an organisation. 

We hope that our contribution inspires all of us to carry the spirit of Mandela Day beyond these 67 minutes, because when service becomes a habit, partnerships become catalysts for lasting change.
