Luis is the Managing Director of Comserv Maputo, Mozambique, a position he has held since 2009. He is responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring profitability. Before this, he served as the General Manager for Grupo IPG Urbanos in Maputo from 1998 to 2009, where he was instrumental in establishing and developing the business from the ground up.
From 1992 to 1998, Luis was the District Manager for Steelcase Inc. in Lisbon, Portugal, focusing on sales dealership and international business development. Prior to that, he worked in management and sales at ALB LDA in Cascais, Portugal, between 1990 and 1992.
Luis began his career in sales and project management at Cortal SA in Lisbon, followed by a role as a salesman and draftsman at Codan Refrigeration LDA. His early experience also includes drafting architectural, HVAC, and electrical projects at GCR – Gabinete Conceição Rodrigues.
Luis holds qualifications in finance and business management, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his current role.
