Ipeleng Mkhari

Ipeleng is the CEO of Motseng Investment Holdings, managing eight subsidiaries in the property and industrial sectors in Southern Africa. A pioneering business leader, she has led Motseng, a multi-award-winning organisation for over 25 years. She co-founded Delta Property Fund, listing it on the JSE with R7 billion in assets. At Motseng, she has served as Chief Operations Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and CEO of Motseng Outsourced Services, driving strategic growth and development.

Ipeleng, an Archbishop Tutu Fellow, has secured significant ownership stakes in major companies and formed strategic partnerships. She holds non-executive director roles at Revego and Attacq and has chaired the Women’s Property Network and the South African Property Owners Association.

Her education includes a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Natal and an Executive Development Programme from WITS Business School. Recognised for her industry contributions, Ipeleng has received the Standard Bank Top Woman in Property Award, Forbes Woman Africa Pioneer Woman of the Year, and is a Tutu Fellow by the African Leadership Institute. She remains a leading figure in property investment and development, dedicated to fostering growth and innovation.
